Build log · Frankfort, Kentucky

I rebuilt how my business runs. In five days.

Job reports customers can read. Authorizations signed on a phone at the counter. Card payments that reconcile themselves. Custom built, no subscriptions. It runs my business today — and it is the same work I do for other businesses.

What got built, and when

Each of these went live and started doing real work the day it was finished.

Day 1

Customer job reports

What was reported, what was found, what it measured — photographs attached to the finding they prove. The customer opens a link. No app, no attachment to lose.

Day 2

Hosted invoicing

Generated straight from the job report, numbered in sequence, linked back to the work it bills for. Previously these were written by hand, one at a time.

Day 3

Expense tracking

Card statements import directly and sort into the categories a tax return actually asks for — instead of being reconstructed in a spreadsheet every March.

Day 4

Signed authorization

The customer signs on their own phone before work starts, setting their own spending limit. The terms are stored with the job, so later edits can never change what somebody already agreed to.

Day 5

Payments that reconcile themselves

A customer taps Pay. Seconds later the invoice marks itself paid and the books update. Nobody re-types anything, and nothing gets forgotten.

See it working

A real report the system produces. The customer is fictional; the machine and every measurement in it are real.

The same work, for your business

Most small businesses run on subscriptions that almost fit, plus a spreadsheet holding the rest together. That gap is where the time goes.

Built to fit

Shaped like your work

Not a template with your logo on it. The step no product on the market handles is exactly the step that gets built.

You own it

No monthly fee

Runs on your own domain. No per-user pricing, no rate increases, no vendor that can take it away.

Documented

Written down, not remembered

What it does and why is recorded as it is built — so changing it in two years does not start with reverse-engineering it.

Practical

Days, not quarters

Small useful pieces that ship, rather than a project that consumes a year before anyone can use it.

What would you build, if the software actually fit?

Scheduling that matches how you really book. Job records your customers can read. Quotes, invoices and payment in one path instead of four. Whatever the spreadsheet is currently holding together.

Worth a conversation, and the conversation is free.
